DGS is an extension of Delish Magazine (www.delishmag.com), a free e-mag that celebrates the revival of hand made and home grown, extols the virtues of getting your hands dirty and believes in passing on knowledge, recipes, techniques and the pioneering spirit.  Traditional values in a modern mindset!

We are a mom & pop online shop based in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver, BC, and are proud to bring hard-to-find products to our fellow Canadians, and to everyone else as well!

At the helm as e-shopkeeper and proprietor is broadcast, print and web journalist Tamara Komuniecki, who describes herself as "Independent, adventurous, impatient, Arthritic. Journalist, bon vivant and eager but imperfect homemaker." She's been discovering and reporting on cool things for 18 years and is now getting around to sharing them.

Her silent partner lurks in the shadows, opens the wine bottles, whispers suggestions and builds spreadsheets.

Payment
All payments are made via PayPal. You can either use your existing PayPal account linked up to your bank account, or you can use your Visa, Mastercard or other credit cards to make a payment, through PayPal.

Sales Tax
Please note that all Canadian residents will be charged applicable tax on all products (not on shipping) at checkout.

Is your information safe with us?

Basically -- yes. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Don't worry, you're cool.

When and how are orders shipped?
Once your payment clears, your item(s) will ship out within 1-3 business days. We ship all of our products, domestically, to the US and internationally, via Canada Post.

NOTE FOR LOCAL/LOWER MAINLAND  CUSTOMERS:
We are based in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver, and will happily meet customers in the Village or deliver orders in the Lower Mainland when convenient.

**WE REFUND $$ WHEN SHIPPING/POSTAGE IS MUCH LESS THAN WHAT WAS CHARGED...that usually happens as a function of the limitations of the shopping cart and shipping "software".
